Life and Study at Queen Mary
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought some inevitable changes to university life. But what hasn’t changed is our determination to make your time at Queen Mary exciting and rewarding, and the very start of your university career both smooth and enjoyable!
You will undoubtedly have lots of questions about what lies ahead, and this is the place to start getting answers and guidance.
Whether you are wondering how studying will be organised, how to connect with others to build a social life, or how to manage your finances, we have information to guide you. There are pages that deal with relationships and mental health too – in these uncertain times, it is more important than ever that we all pay attention to our mental wellbeing.
And there are sections for different types of students too – foundation students, postgraduate students, and returning students – that tackle specific issues they might encounter.
So whatever your questions, interests or concerns, once you have your IT credentials, log into our virtual learning environment QMPlus to find out more.
Having trouble logging into QMPlus?
Shortly after the pre-enrolment email, Queen Mary IT Services will email you information about your IT account, including your Queen Mary email address and log in details for all Queen Mary platforms. You will need this information to access QMPlus, so please check your email regularly. It's a good idea to make sure emails sent from qmul.ac.uk don't go into your junk folder.
Please test your access to QMPlus as early as possible, and if you experience any difficulties logging in, round-the-clock help is available to students and staff via Live Chat https://www.its.qmul.ac.uk/.
