Your home in London

Living in Queen Mary accommodation gives you the opportunity to study and socialise with students from all over the world. Many people will be away from home for the first time, and you’ll enjoy the adventure together as part of the Queen Mary community.

Our largest campus, in Mile End, is one of the largest self-contained campuses in London. Located alongside the historic Regent’s Canal, it has everything you need to live, study and socialise, from cafes, bars and a nightclub to a 24-hour library, computer labs and sports facilities. We also have campuses at Whitechapel, Charterhouse Square and West Smithfield for medicine and dentistry students. When you live on or near our campuses, you’ll be just minutes from your classes and the social hub of Queen Mary.

Undergraduate accommodation

We provide a range of living options, including rooms with ensuite bathrooms. These include:

  • Almost 2,500 rooms in self-catering residences on or near the Mile End campus
  • 360 rooms for Medicine and Dentistry students, in Whitechapel and the City of London
  • 26 rooms adapted for students with mobility impairments (12 specifically for wheelchair users)
  • 18 rooms adapted for deaf or hard-of-hearing students

Postgraduate accommodation

Aspire Point is a new development in Stratford, which provides affordable living and study space for 445 postgraduate students. This iconic student residence has stunning views over London and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It is a short (20 minute) bus journey away from our Mile End campus. We also offer 251 living and study spaces in Sherren House, with our partner provider Unite Students. This is less than 10 minutes’ walk to our main campus in Mile End and close to popular areas such as Brick Lane and Shoreditch.
