Profile

Will has worked at Queen Mary University of London since July 2005 and his main area of responsibility is guiding International Foundation Programme students through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). After graduating in History from Warwick in 1993, Will taught in Poland, the Czech Republic, Portugal and Australia, before settling in London. Will has the RSA/ Cambridge Diploma in TEFLA as well as an MA in English Teaching & Applied Linguistics from King's College, University of London and an MA in Contemporary History & Politics from Birbeck (Distinction), University of London. He also has a PGCE (History 11-18) from the University of Sussex. Before joining Queen Mary, Will taught at International House, London, where he was the Coordinator for the University Foundation Programme. During his time at Queen Mary, Will has developed a paricular interest in developing transferable skills for foundation level students and the teaching of English for Academic Purposes to students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects.
