Ms Zou Dan

Profile

Zou Dan joined the QUML Confucius Institute as a Chinese teacher in September 2023. She served as an English teacher in Changsha University from 2007 to 2023.

She has accumulated rich teaching experience over the past decade, guiding students to win provincial and school-level English competition awards multiple times. She is also dedicated to research, focusing on translation studies, publishing 8 articles on China’s provincial journals.

In 2018-2019, Zou Dan visited Lorain County College in the United States for academic exchange. There she served as an international Chinese teacher, not only teaching Chinese, but also organizing Chinese oral training classes and giving lectures on traditional Chinese culture. Her efforts received praise from both teachers and students, leading to an interview with a local American journalist.
