Profile

Chen Yan, joins the Confucius Institute jointly run by Queen Mary University of London (QMUL)and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT)  as Chinese teacher in Aug.2021.She obtained her Master degree in Education from Hunan University in 2018.

Chen Yan has rich experiences in teaching Chinese language.She was chosen to teach a beginner Chinese class, intermediate Chinese class at the International Student Center in Hunan University for 2 years.She followed her mentor to participate in the 16th "Chinese Bridge" competition and became the mentor of the contestants. Equipped with a Master’s Degree in Education from Hunan University,She went to work at the Confucius Institute in Betong, Thailand. Chen Yan has a strong passion for teaching Chinese and sharing Chinese culture.
