Study in Beijing and London and receive degrees from both Queen Mary and Beijing Foreign Studies University

We are proud to partner with Beijing Foreign Studies University. This partnership allows us to offer students the chance to study in London and Beijing and get degrees from both institutions. 

As a student at BFSU, there are various ways you can join us at Queen Mary

Via the 4+1 route: Students who have completed a bachelors degree from BFSU in any school are able to apply for a Master's programme in these schools at Queen Mary:

  • Centre for Commercial Law Studies (PG Law)
  • School of Business and Management 
  • School of Economics and Finance
  • Department of Politics and International Relations 
  • School of Law
  • School of the Arts
  • Department of Geography and Environmental Science

Via the 1+1+1 route: Complete Masters Year one at BFSU, take year two at Queen Mary studying one of our Masters degrees, then return to BFSU for Year three and completion of the BFSU Masters degree. This route is open to students on the following BFSU schools:

  • School of International Journalism and Communication
  • School of English and International Studies
  • School of International Relations and Diplomacy
  • School of Law 
  • International Business School
  • School of European Languages and Cultures
  • Graduate School

and applies to masters programmes in these schools at Queen Mary.

This can also be studied as a 2+1 route, with Masters Year 1 and 2 at BFSU, then take Year 3 at Queen Mary studying one of our Masters degrees, which will also complete your home Masters degree. You may be able to take advantage of the Graduate Visa under the 2+1 route.
