Our Alumni Community

Queen Mary University of London has a long, proud and distinctive history built on four historic institutions dating back to 1785 and beyond. Our founding institutions are, St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical College, London Hospital Medical College, Westfield College and Queen Mary College. Discover more about the history of Queen Mary

Today, we have a diverse and global alumni community of over 200,000 alumni in more than 170 countries around the world. We are proud of every one of our UK based and international alumni and our job is to provide alumni with a lifelong connection to the University and each other. 

We have launched, and will continue to launch, Queen Mary International Alumni Chapters to keep the Queen Mary community thriving in local areas around the world. Read more about our International Alumni Chapters which act as regional hubs of activity, bringing together Queen Mary alumni from all different stages of their careers. 

In particular, the Queen Mary Alumni Engagement Team connects and supports alumni who graduated from The Faculty of Science and Engineering and The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Contact alumni@qmul.ac.uk for more information. 

The Barts and The Alumni Association (BATLAA), supports and connects alumni who qualified from The London Hospital Medical College, The London Hospital Dental College and St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical College, as well as the current Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. This Association also supports members with the organisation of bespoke reunions and special interest, regional and overseas groups including Barts and The London Dental Club.
