Queen Mary has been delivering Foundation and Pre Masters programmes on our campus in London for almost 30 years. We currently have over 480 students taking a Foundation or Pre masters year with us with a view to successfully progressing onto one of our 240+ degree programmes.
Students at Foundation level have the option of applying for either a one-year standalone programme or an integrated foundation year, which forms part of their four- or five-year degree.
We offer undergraduate study pathways into Business, Economics, Film, Geography, Law, Politics, Biological Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology amongst other areas.
All Foundation, Pre Masters and Pre-Sessional programmes are taught on our unique campus in East London, home to students from 162 nationalities from around the world.

A pathway into Economics and Finance, Law, International Relations and Film degrees amongst others.

At postgraduate levels students can progress into Masters programmes in Accounting, Business, Entrepeneurship, Finance and Management amongst other areas.
We also have a large Pre-sessional programme, providing 13, nine and five week study options, with over 550 students undertaking short term English study with us in 2017, prior to the start of their degree programme. For 2018 entry we have also introduced an integrated five week pre-sessional course which forms part of a student's study programme.

Queen Mary's Summer Pre-Sessional Programmes run from 13 weeks, 9 weeks or 5 weeks. They are designed to develop your English Language and academic study skills, and prepare you for your chosen undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University. The Summer Pre-sessional Programmes offer you a stimulating academic experience and the Pre-Sessional teaching team is committed to making sure that you complete the programme successfully. For 2018 entry international students who meet the requirement for the 5 week programme may have the opportunity to take an integrated course which forms part of your degree study.
