Vellore Institute of Technology

We are proud to partner with Vellore Institute of Technology. This partnership allows us to offer students the chance to study in London and India and get degrees from both institutions. 

As a student at VIT, there are various ways you can join us at Queen Mary:

Via the 1+1 route: Complete Masters Year one at VIT, then take Year two at Queen Mary studying one of our Masters degrees, which will also complete your home Masters degree. You may be able to take advantage of the Graduate Visa under this route – click the link at the bottom of this page for further information.  

This route is open to students on specific MTech programmes within the following Schools at VIT:

• School of Electrical Engineering
• School of Electronics Engineering
• School of Computer Science Engineering
• School of Mechanical Engineering

for entry to the Masters programmes within the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and School of Materials Science and Engineering at Queen Mary.

Via the 2+2 route: Study 2 years of the B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (Amaravathi, Vellore or Chennai Campus) then articulate into the final two years of the BSc Computer Science at Queen Mary. This allows students to achieve two qualifications in four years.
