We are proud to partner with East China University of Science and Technology. This partnership allows us to offer students the chance to study in London and Shanghai and get degrees from both institutions. 

As a student at ECUST, there are various ways you can join us at Queen Mary


Via the 4+1 route: Students who have completed a bachelors degree from ECUST in the School of Material Science and Engineering and School of Business are able to apply for a masters programme in the School of Engineering and Materials Science, School of Business and Management, and the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary.

Via the 1+1+1 route: Complete Masters Year one at ECUST, take year two at Queen Mary studying one of our Masters degrees, then return to ECUST for Year three and completion of the ECUST Masters degree. This route is open to students on the following ECUST masters programmes:

  • Master in Applied Economics
  • MBA/EMBA
  • Master in Management Science & Engineering
  • Master of Engineering Management (MEM)
  • Master in Business Administration
  • Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc)
  • Master of Finance (MF)

and applies to masters programmes in the School of Engineering and Materials Science, School of Business and Management and the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary.

Via the 3+1+1 route: Three years at ECUST and one Study Abroad semester/academic year at Queen Mary. Complete the degree programme at ECUST and return to Queen Mary for a masters. The study abroad programme is open to all subject areas within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The masters programmes are available in the School of Engineering and Materials Science, School of Business and Management and the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary.
