Residential Services and Support

Step three: Acceptance

Ensure that you accept the offer of halls, and pay the deposit (£300.00) to confirm the booking, online by the deadline date stated in your accommodation offer – missed deadlines may result in the offer being cancelled.

As part of the acceptance process, please read the Residents' Handbook and our Living Safely document for detailed information on the QMUL's policies and procedures for 2020-21.

If you are an international student, please also visit the UK Government guidance regarding countries that are exempt from 14 day isolation. International students can request to arrive up to 14 days before the start of their residential licence agreement, if they are required to self-isolate in accordance with the current Government guidelines. Please contact for further guidance. Find out more about the steps we are taking in Queen Mary Halls for your safety and security in our Living Safely document.

If Something Goes Wrong:

Housing Services staff have many years of experience in dealing with student accommodation and will give you their best attention and advice at all times. If, however, for any reason, you are unhappy with the service you have received, you should contact the Head of Housing Services at Queen Mary University of London who will be happy to investigate.
