QMUL Criminal Justice Centre hosted the Policing Flows Workshop

Published:

On 5–6 December 2016, the Criminal Justice Centre (CJC) at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) hosted the annual workshop on Policing Of/Through Flows. The workshop was held for the second time after a very successful last year’s event hosted by the International Centre for Comparative Criminology (ICCC) at the Université de Montréal.

The two-day workshop featured research in the areas of policing and security that examines how flows of people, information and goods have influenced policing, as well as how policing intervenes with and shapes those flows. Academics from Europe, North America, Australia, and Africa took part in the event.

Selected papers from the workshop will be published by Routledge in an edited collection that is part of a book series on transnational criminal justice edited by Dr Saskia Hufnagel, Co-Director of the CJC.
