Our students are passionate and keen to get involved. There's a range of activities and programmes you can participate in, including:
We have twelve student societies in the School of Law, each one dedicated to different topics or aspects of law. They co-ordinate and host a broad range of activities including networking events, competitions, Q&A sessions, panel discussions and socials. Find out more about our societies and how you can join.
We hold events for students throughout the academic year. During Welcome Week we organise events to help you settle into university life and meet fellow students on your programme. We also organise socials regularly throughout the year, and we work with student societies to put on special events such as the George Hinde Moot Final.
We also host a range of lectures, workshops, conferences and seminars throughout the year with top experts from across the field of law. Attending our events will give you the opportunity to explore topics that interest you in more depth and network with other students, academics, lawyers and professionals.
