Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated academic who has the commitment and ability to make an active
contribution to Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in Gozo, Malta.

The successful candidate will possess a PhD, MBBS or equivalent with a demonstrable track record of
outstanding teaching. This post is a teaching and development role and we welcome applications from
candidates who can deliver high quality education and assessment to medical students in the subject
are of public health.

We would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in the following fields:
- Public Health
- Medical Ethics and Mental Health
- Epidemiology and Statistics
- Well-being
- Health Policy

Experience of student pastoral support would be desirable but not compulsory.


Salary for appointment as non-Clinical Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is €44,802 and €51,923 per annum
respectively; and for Clinical Lecturer/Senior Lecturer €45,893 and €55,395 per annum respectively.
Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave. Relocation assistance is available.
