Professor Rafael Leal-Arcas, Jean Monnet Chair in EU International Economic Law at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), gave a series of lectures on international energy law at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy in Seoul (South Korea). The lectures were delivered in the context of the Seoul Academy of International Law (SAIL).

SAIL is a two-week program that provides lectures in diverse fields of international law to approximately 50 participants from 20 countries, mostly in Asia and the Pacific region. The participants in the programme are diplomats, legal practitioners, scholars, researchers and graduate students. The main objective of SAIL is to offer the participants an opportunity to catch up with the current trends in international law, thereby contributing towards the promotion of the rule of law in that region.
