The NIHR Barts Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) awarded in Oct 22 provides the opportunity to tackle health inequalities and deliver pioneering, innovative healthcare to people of east London and beyond.
The funding will be used by our healthcare professionals and scientists to research and develop new ways to diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses including musculoskeletal conditions, based on an individual patient’s genetic make-up and health history, known as precision or personalised medicine.
