EMR is the leading centre worldwide for biopsy-driven stratified-medicine randomised clinical trials in rheumatoid arthritis. We have a dedicated team of trial managers and coordinators, clinical fellows, research nurses, and clinical trial practitioners working across QMUL and Mile End Hospital to recruit patients to our own and other academically and commercially sponsored studies. The clinical trials team works closely with the core laboratory team working in EMR’s central laboratory who are responsible for the processing and storage of samples.
