What influenced your decision to study at Queen Mary?

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) holds an impressive international reputation for its diverse and inclusive community and enjoys a reputation for attracting students from all over the world. My decision to study at this school was influenced by the example it set for diversity and inclusion. In addition, I could pick modules that complement my career goals because my course structure allows me to choose from a variety of modules. The combination of these factors has allowed me to gain experience in a variety of fields of commercial and corporate law that are particularly relevant to my career goals.

How did you find the teaching and learning?

With its dynamic, interactive environment, the University delivers first-class learning experiences that combine real-world knowledge with theoretical concepts. As a student, I had the opportunity to learn from professors that are both globally respected experts in their fields and former employers. In addition, it has led to a more interactive and motivating learning environment, tailored to fit the individual's needs. This is a fantastic learning opportunity, and I strongly recommend it for all prospective students.

What piece of insight or advice would you offer for future students?

I heavily involved myself in many aspects of university life, even though it was only one year long and I was determined to take advantage of all opportunities. Take advantage of all the opportunities offered by the University to broaden your horizons and open up your mind. My experiences at Queen Mary University of London allowed me to take advantage of their many facilities and support mechanisms. For example, I participated in many webinars hosted by the Centre for Commercial Law (CCLS), presented my research at the Queen Mary Postgraduate Law Conference, and served as a marketing officer at the Queen Mary Bar Society of QMUL. Additionally, I received the Best Achiever's Award 20-21 from the CCLS India Chapter on 26th November, 2021. I would encourage prospective students to make the most of their time at Queen Mary. Make sure you surround yourself with people and experiences that will challenge you to grow as a person. Learn new skills, take on new challenges, and build your confidence. Get out of your comfort zone, both inside and outside the classroom.
