Landlords who have a room(s)/property to let

To use this service you must be the legal owner (or acting on behalf of the legal owner) of the property.  Students wishing to advertise a room within the house they are currently renting, will need to contact Housing Services for further instructions on how to do this.

You may already let a property/room(s) to students of Queen Mary, or you may be considering doing so in the future.  We hope the information we provide will assist you in offering a good service to your tenants and ensure a trouble-free letting.

QM Private Lettings will enable you to register your property online, create your property portfolio, add extensive property attributes and photographs, update your property details as required and make your registration payment online. No more paper forms to complete. The registration period runs from 1 May until 30 April each year (or any period within these dates) and the cost is £30.00 per property. Once your property is registered, you can re-advertise as many times as required during this registration period; no further payment will be required.

You can advertise a whole vacant flat or house for letting to a group, self-catering rooms within a house/flat share, or board and lodgings style accommodation. The rental price you can expect to achieve for your accommodation will depend upon the type, location and services included.  Housing Services will be pleased to quote current market rates as a guide: contact us.

Before you create your account and register, please read all the guidance notes very carefully and contact us if you require any advice.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
