As the Phase 1 Curriculums Operation Manager here at Barts, Malta Campus. My job is to provide smooth administrative management for the Phase 1 (years 1 and 2) areas of the course. Initially ensuring a smooth transition from offer holder to new student, working very closely with the Marketing and Student Recruitment Manager, Student Experience Manager, along with other members of the Student Office and Professional Services Teams. My role also includes assessment coordination for all years (1 to 5) in both a formative and summative context.

Our main focus is to ensure all students feel informed and supported by the Student office, phase 1 and academic teams. From pre-induction to transitioning in to year 3 my job involves student communications, Occupational health arrangements, timetabling/room booking management, Qreview management assignment and submission administration, shuttle bus organisation and assessment management, just to name a few.  We also work extremely closely with the Academic and Student Support teams to ensure general information, professionalism information, learning resources such as lecture slides, recordings, key learning objectives ect are all accessible and up to date on our virtual learning platform QMPlus.

Having over 10 years of  administrative experience, working within the higher education sector, I can genuinely say this has been one of my favourite jobs to date!

Previously having worked at the Royal College of Physicians, Kings College London and The University of Greenwich. I have a wealth of experience in student administration support as well as examination and assessment management. The team here are all very close and work very hard with one another to ensure students are provided with an excellent quality of education.
