Profile
Dr Palaska is the recipient of the 2016 Scholarship by the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and is also completing her PhD focused on mast cells and periodontal inflammation at Athens Medical School in Greece.
Dr Palaska graduated from Aristotle University School of Dental Medicine in Thessaloniki, Greece in 2008 with honours. She then completed the 3-year Master of Science program in Periodontology and Implant Biology at the same University with distinction. Dr Palaska is a recipient of many scholarships and awards including the Fotis Mitsis (F. Mitsis) award presented by the Hellenic Society of Periodontology.
Dr Palaska was a postdoctoral Research Fellow for 4 years in the Molecular Immunopharmacology and Drug Discovery Laboratory at Tufts University School of Medicine and at the Department of Applied Oral Sciences in Forsyth Institute, Boston USA.
Currently, Dr Palaska works as part of a multidisciplinary team and is involved in the clinical management and treatment of patients in the fields of Periodontology, Tissue Regeneration and Implant Dentistry.
