The department of Comparative Literature is proud to announce that Prof. Galin Tihanov has been elected member of the International Comparative Literature Association Co-ordinating Committee for the Histories of Literatures in the European Languages (CHLEL). The committee steers the research towards, and oversees the commissioning, production, and publication of, the John Benjamins series on the comparative history of literatures in the European Languages, in and beyond Europe. The committee comprises prominent comparatists from various countries and meets annually.
