To current students, my advice is to make the most out of their time here. Participate in extracurricular activities and take advantage of the opportunities available. Get involved in research and work on practical projects. Connect with your professors and mentors, ask them for guidance and advice. Take advantage of the resources available here, including the library, career centre, and networking events. This will help you build a strong foundation for your legal career.

Additionally, I would recommend networking with alumni and professionals in your field. Attend conferences, join professional associations, and seek out mentorship opportunities. Networking can provide invaluable insights into the industry, job opportunities, and emerging trends. It can also help you build relationships with professionals who can offer guidance and support throughout your career.

Lastly, I would advise students to remain committed to continuous learning and professional development. The legal industry is constantly evolving, and it is crucial to stay abreast of new developments, trends, and laws. Participate in continuing education programs, attend seminars and workshops, and seek out mentorship opportunities. This will help you build on your foundational knowledge and stay ahead in your field.

In conclusion, my LLM studies at Queen Mary University of London have been instrumental in shaping my legal career, and I am proud to be an alum of this esteemed institution.
