Time: 4:45 - 7:15pm Venue: Room 3.1, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, 67-69 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3JB
The New Voices in Commercial Law is a seminar series which aims to provide a forum for debate and an opportunity for attendees to hear early career academics with outstanding potential discuss their research in an intellectually stimulating environment.
Energy markets present many complex issues relevant to the interplay between competition and regulation, consumer law and competition law, consumer behaviour etc. The two papers will deal with different aspects, implications and problems pertaining to the UK energy market. The theme of the seminar is very topical and it is expected to generate a lot of discussion and debate, in view of the on-going CMA market investigation and the final report which is due to be published about a month after the seminar.
