Le Café Des Arbitres: Peering Into The Past, Gazing Into The Future

When: Tuesday, November 7, 2023, 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Where: Maison Boétie - Salle de réception - Paris 8 - Champs Elysées 110 Rue La Boétie 75008 Paris France

Le Café Des Arbitres (LCDA) is a series of conferences, conducted in English and hosted by the School of International Arbitration (Queen Mary, University of London). It was launched in 2013 by Prof. Loukas Mistelis (QMUL, Clyde & Co) and Ms. Julie Audoux (Avocate au Barreau de Paris, QMUL Alumna), supported by Ms. Anna Gray (QMUL), and joined, in 2018, by Dr Maria Fanou (QMUL). LCDA aims to bring together all arbitration aficionados, whether seasoned professionals or enthusiastic learners, around the same table. It's a place where people can freely share ideas, get answers to burning questions and keep abreast of the latest developments in commercial and investment arbitration.

A Special Edition in Celebration of LCDA's 10th Anniversary!

As 2023 marked the 10th Anniversary of LCDA, the Organising Committee was pleased to host a special edition! This special edition featured an informal Q&A session with eminent arbitrators, two roundtable discussions inspired by previous LCDA topics and featuring stellar speakers, and finally, a scrumptious cocktail dînatoire.
