‘Transnationalism in History and Theory’ research seminar series at the Centre for Law and Society in a Global Context (CLSGC) presents Professor Saul Dubow, History, Queen Mary University of London, ‘Rights, Constitutionalism, and Political Transition in South Africa’. Please note that there will be no pre-circulated paper. Prior to the seminar participants might consult Professor Dubow’s South Africa’s Struggle for Human Rights (2012).
The Centre’s themed seminar series in 2013-14 focuses on the history and theory of transnationalism. The series looks both forward and backwards: it will explore the implications of the growing transnationalisation of regulation for contemporary legal scholarship and legal education, as well investigating forms of transnationalism in the past (especially imperialism).
