Profile

Ronn achieved a BTEC National Award in Dental Technology (2005). He trained and studied at Eastman Dental Hospital apprenticeship scheme for dental technicians. He successfully completed and awarded FdSc in Dental Technology by De Montfort University, Leicester (2008). Ronn has GDC recognised additional scope of practice qualifications including clinical infection control, dental impression recording, occlusal registration and shade taking. He is currently studying to become a Clinical Dental Technician. Ronn is a Health and Safety Coordinator and Mental Health First Aider at the Institute of Dentistry.

Teaching

Ronn has worked at QMUL for over 9 years as a laboratory tutor in The Centre for Teaching and Innovation (CTI) at the Institute of Dentistry. He is a member of The Higher Education Academy (HEA) and has a Certificate in Learning and Teaching (CILT) 2014.  Ronn supports the learning and development of Years 2-5 of the BDS Undergraduate Curriculum. He also teaches postgraduate students enrolled on MSc in Dental Technology and DClinDent in Prosthodontics.

Research Interests:

His current research interests include Patients’ satisfaction when wearing complete dentures with different occlusal schemes.
