You should obtain insurance for your personal belongings which should cover accidental damage. The costs will depend upon the items you are bringing with you and their value; key areas to check are the value of your computer equipment. Additional insurance will be required for bicycles and mobile phones. The university cannot make any recommendations regarding insurance companies and you should find one that suits your own particular requirements.
