Our goal at School of Economics and Finance (SEF) is to enhance your experience with us throughout your studies. Your support team are here to assist you so that you can get the most from your time with us.
You can receive help for academic and course related problems as well as health and personal issues. Whether you’re looking for administrative support and advice from initial enquiry and admission through to examination, graduation and award or a mentor to help you settle as a student, support, help and guidance is part of life at SEF.
If you need any additional help and need to discuss it one to one, you can always make an appointment. The office hours will be published on QMPlus.
You can book an appointment with the module leader or the academic adviser (teaching assistant) for academic and course related problems.
You can book an appointment with the senior tutor who takes the lead on your pastoral and academic issues. He can also assist with questions on School or University regulations, policies, and procedures.
You can also book an appointment with the programme manager or the student support manager for administrative support and advice.
These appointments can be either online or face-to-face.
In addition to this we also run twice a week, Q&A sessions with the senior tutor and the support team, networking event with the module leaders, alumni talks and are available to support you all along your journey.
