Barbara Petrongolo speaks about immigration and Brexit at the Economics Festival in Trento

Queen Mary University of London's Professor Barbara Petrongolo spoke at the annual Festival of Economics in Trento, Italy on 31st May 2019. The focus of her talk was on immigration and Brexit, where she discussed that most current studies showcase that there is no proof of negative effects of immigration on wages and employees for the local population in the UK.

With the aim to make economics more understandable to a wider audience, the Economics Festival attracts every year Nobel prize winners and internationally-renowned scholars, politicians, intellectuals, economists, trade unionists and journalists, discuss and debate with the audience of the festival on extremely important and contemporary issues.
