I am a Teaching Fellow in Department of English, where I completed my PhD entitled ‘Remember This? Family, History and the Nature of Historical Consciousness in Stephen Poliakoff’s Dramas, 1974–2011’, in 2013. I am currently writing on children and war in Poliakoff's dramas about the Second World War. Other research includes work on Combat Gnosticism in R.C. Sherriff's play Journey's End, using material in the Sherriff archive at Surrey History Centre.
