Celebrating Asian Heritage Month with Queen Mary University of London Archives

Come along and see historical photographs, student cards, and learn the stories of some of our university’s remarkable Asian alumni. Hosted by Vandy Widyalankara, a student at Queen Mary and staff member of the Students Union, we are inviting you to look through the historical records yourself and discuss Asian heritage at Queen Mary.

This is an informal drop-in session so come along for as little or long as you like and find out more about your university's history. The Archives Reading Room is on the second floor of Mile End Library on Queen Mary’s Mile End Campus. You can find the Archives Reading room by turning left directly before the staircase to floors 3 and 4 and following the corridor all the way along, we are the last door on your left. On the ground floor near the Welcome desk helpers will be able to point you in the right direction on the day.

No need to sign up in advance just turn up on the 12 March from 12.30pm – students, staff and visitors welcome. Visitors will need to leave time to fill in a short form at the welcome desk and bring an ID. If you have any questions or access concerns about this event you can get in touch here archives@qmul.ac.uk.
