The two awardees will write a research project on the Yachting industry in Europe and its contribution to the local economies under the supervision of Dr Garry A. Gabison, Lecturer of Law, Economics and Regulations.

Dr Garry A. Gabison said: “These scholarships provide our students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and to interact with stakeholders in a vibrant industry. Students will travel to various locations where yachts are manufactured across the Mediterranean region.”

MYBA The Worldwide Yachting Association is an internationally renowned professional organisation, founded in 1984. Members are widely represented in all fields of brokerage, charter, technical management and construction of large yachts.

The scholarships are new for CCLS and successful students will produce reports based on their findings. Around 86.5 per cent of those jobs were in the physical labour force. Read the full report.
