Dr Ruth Fletcher, Senior Lecturer in Medical Law at Queen Mary University of London, has penned a blog post on 'COVID-19 Lays Bare Ireland’s Selective Approach to Care' for the Bill of Health. In the blog she writes, "Tensions between welfarisms that enable and those that suffocate are evident in Ireland’s move to restrict the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in the reaction to it."

Bill of Health was launched in September 2012 by the Petrie-Flom Center at Harvard Law School to provide a one-stop shop for readers interested in news, commentary, and scholarship in the fields of health law policy, biotechnology, and bioethics.
