Professor Eric Heinze quoted in OZY on Free speech and banning newspapers
OZY looks into the issue of free speech in relation to a number of student unions banning the sale of certain newspapers. Professor Eric Heinze, who was interviewed for the article, said: “I think [the students] do have a point. It’s tempting to say [the Daily Mail] is just the Daily Hate.” But he suggests the ban is “problematical because of … this tendency to pull away from the world [and] not trust people to form their own decisions.” Read the full article.
