Professor Penny Green 'The most persecuted people on Earth?' in the Economist

After stigmatisation, harassment, isolation and a weakening of civil rights could the Rohingya crises escalate to genocide? Professor Penny Green, director of the International State Crime Initiative at QMUL, is cited in a feature for the Economist on the issue and argues that a stage in the “process of genocide” began with the ethnic cleansing in 2012 when thousands of Rohingyas were forced into squalid refugee camps after the local Buddhists turned on them.
