Dr Jessie Hohman's report finds UK in breach of international human rights

Published:

The UK is in breach of international human rights by failing to provide suitable homes to people in the face of a severe housing crisis, according to a report by Dr Jessie Hohmann, Lecturer in Law at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), for Just Fair. She comments, "housing is really about how we want our society to be, how much social inclusion we want there to be - so when we end up with a huge swathe of society that's falling through the cracks I think that shows a real lack of care and commitment." • Dr Jessie Hohmann was also featured on BBC Breakfast 14 October 2015 commenting on the housing crisis and right to housing.
