Noam Shemtov invited to speak at Thai Embassy on Intellectual Property education

Noam Shemtov was invited to speak, together with two other academics from the UK, at a Thai Embassy event attended by the Thai Minister of Education and Thai government sponsors, as well as representatives from various UK universities on 26 April. 

The event was called 'Trends and Beyond: implications to Thai Government Scholarship Students' and dealt with the allocation of Thai scholarships to vital academic areas. Noam Shemtov, Lecturer in Intellectual Property and Computer and Communication Law at Queen Mary, spoke about recent changes in university education in Intellectual Property (IP) and the vital role that skilled and well trained IP professionals play in a country's economic growth and development prospects, as well as about cutting edge areas in current IP education.
