Professor Julia Hörnle discusses internet regulation

Professor Hörnle took part in a BCS Webinar on Long-arm Legislation and took part in a TRT Roundtable Session on the Online Safety Bill.

Julia Hörnle, Professor of Internet Law at Queen Mary University of London, took part in a webinar for BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, on ‘Long-arm legislation - paradoxes in regulating online activities internationally’. The webinar looks at the changes in cross-border jurisdiction of online activities and affect it will have on online services. Watch the full 45-minute webinar on YouTube.

Professor Hörnle also appeared on Turkish television network TRT World, taking part in a roundtable discussion on the new laws planned by the UK to police the world wide web. Watch the roundtable discussion on TRT World.
