Duncan Matthews, Professor of Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London, was interviewed on South Korean radio programme This Morning, discussing the implications of an IP waiver for vaccine procurement. Professor Matthews predicted that U.S. support for an IP waiver is going to lead to a major reassessment of the relationship between industry and governments, with calls for greater transparency and the sharing of IP from publicly funded research.
