The rooftop brimmed with laughter on the evening, when the CCLS India chapter organised Drinks at The Taj in London.
"The rooftop brimmed with laughter on the evening of July 28th, when the CCLS India chapter organised an informal drinks session at The Taj, London. It was CCLS India Chapter’s Second Event in July 2022. The first one was hosted by Mr Ajit Mishra and Other Committee members just a couple of weeks back at Taj Mansingh, New Delhi", said Shubhangi Nasa (Commercial and Corporate Law LLM, 2022), who attended the event.
At the Taj, London, CCLS Alumni from India and the current Indian Students met over drinks to discuss career prospects, life away from home and plans in an amazing setup organised by CCLS India Chapter Chair. The event would not have been possible without the help of current scholars.
The event was a massive success because of the great turnout, unmatched vibe and amazing hospitality. Though everyone there can vouch about having had a good time, current students appreciated that it was insightful in ways that were required at this juncture when almost all of them are graduating soon and beginning a new life as professionals.
Everyone shared their journeys, inspiring and motivating others to do better and acknowledging the value of networking and community building within the legal fraternity.
There was a sense of belonging in everyone present, and that was beautiful in ways inexpressible because even though it was miles away from India, it felt like home. The experience left the lawyers wanting more and aiming for the next event to be an even bigger success.
