The collaborative open access translation, A Jewish Childhood in the Muslim Mediterranean: A Collection of Stories curated by Leïla Sebbar, ed. by Lia Brozgal and Rebecca Glasberg (University of California Series in Jewish History and Cultures, UC Press, 2023) was a finalist for the 73rd US National Jewish Book Awards (Sephardic category). Rebekah Vince translated five autobiographical short stories in the collection: ‘With All Due Respect…’ by Aldo Naouri, ‘God’s Cradle’ by Ami Bouganim, ‘Crossing an Invisible Distance’ by Nicole S.
