School of Mathematical Sciences 2022 Prize Winners

Every year, the School of Maths celebrates the hard work and achievements of its brightest students with our School Prizes. Read on to find out who our 2022 winners are.

You may have seen an article we published a couple of weeks ago with our College Graduate Prize Winners for 2022. Well here’s part 2, featuring our School Prize Winners.

Each year at graduation, there are two types of prizes: College prizes which are awarded by Queen Mary and School prizes which are awarded by the School of Mathematical Sciences.

This week we are celebrating those that really excelled during their time in the School of Maths and our prize winners are:

Ayesha Noor, BSc Mathematics

Institute of Mathematics and its Applications Prize
University of London Wynne-Roberts Prize

What’s next? Ayesha is starting a postgraduate degree at UCL this September.

Atikah Hussain, BSc Mathematics

She’ll be studying for an MSc in Digital and Technology Solutions (Software Engineering) while working at Man Group, a global hedge fund.

Emre Gilgil, BSc Mathematics
