Currently, fines are charged when books are requested by other readers and not returned, after being auto-renewed for 51 consecutive weeks or at the end of your time at Queen Mary University London.

Fines will no longer be charged for any reason from Friday 24 March. Instead, we will contact you if your books are needed and we will do all we can to help you if you have questions or problems. You can find additional information on the borrowing pages.

As part of these changes, the duration of DVD loans has increased from 24 hours to 7 days based on feedback from the School of Languages , Linguistics and Film. You can submit your feedback using our feedback form.

You can request new resources from Library Services using the Get it for me service or through Inter-Library Loans

You can find out more information on what Queen Mary University is doing through the to reduce costs for students at this time through the Cost of Living pages
