Published:

Professor Rosa Lastra, Queen Mary University of London, and David Bholat, Bank of England, have organised a conference on Financial and Monetary Law* to be held at the Bank of England on 16 May 2014. The event aims to bring together lawyers and policymakers from the Bank of England and other public authorities, leading legal and economics academics, and senior legal practitioners to discuss issues of common interest concerning recent and future developments in the area of Financial and Monetary Law, including issues surrounding the regulatory reform agenda and initiatives to protect financial stability.

The conference builds on the first conference on Financial and Monetary Law in 2013. That conference successfully brought together lawyers, policymakers, academics and practitioners from diverse and international backgrounds.

*Attendance at this event is by invitation only.
