Rosa Lastra introduced Sean Hagan, Professor of Law in Georgetown University and former general counsel of the IMF, who talked about “Understanding And Combatting Corruption: The Role of the IMF.”
In his remarks, Professor Hagan discussed how systemic corruption can undermine economic performance and national security. He also outlined how an effective anti-corruption strategy needs to be holistic and not just focus on criminalization.
