The Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute (ENRLI) are hosting the second lecture of 2016/17's Friday Lecture Series. The lecture will be delivered by Donny Ching (Legal Director, Shell) on the topic of "More Energy with Less C02: Advising your future clients about the energy transition".
Abstract
Climate change and the ongoing energy transition are among the greatest issues facing governments, civil society and companies.
What is the role of the general counsel at a time when so many companies are facing new challenges, regulations, calls for greater disclosure and lawsuits linked to climate change?
Donny Ching will discuss Shell’s response to the energy transition including his insights into Shell’s approach to a lower-carbon energy future.
