“I am pleased to announce that I was called to the Bar of England & Wales, as a Barrister of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn”, says Dilan Wijeratne (Dispute Resolution LLM, 2026).
“A milestone. A privilege. A responsibility. A beginning. I am grateful to everyone who supported me and wished me well along the way! I would like to particularly mention that the location of CCLS helped me immensely to attend qualifying sessions at Lincoln’s Inn, as well as the Lincoln’s Inn Library after my lectures at CCLS. It was also close to Bar Standards Board based High Holborn, which was very convenient. I am looking forward to the opportunities, challenges, and learning that lie ahead! To the next chapter in my professional journey!”
Dilan is a Sri Lankan qualified lawyer and State Counsel at the Attorney General’s Department of Sri Lanka, with over seven years of experience representing the State in complex legal matters and a Chevening Scholar. He is also an Associate Member of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators (UK) (ACIArb).
