CCLS alumnus Yash Jangid who completed his LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law (Distinction) during the 2022–23 academic year, has been Called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple at the Trinity Call 2026 in London.
Following his studies at Queen Mary University of London, Yash Jangid (Commercial and Corporate Law LLM, 2023) completed the Bar Transfer Test and was formally admitted to the Bar of England and Wales through the Inner Temple, one of the four historic Inns of Court. Already an Advocate in India, he is now dual qualified in India and England and Wales, enabling him to practise across both jurisdictions. The Inner Temple counts Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru among its distinguished alumni.
During his time in London, Yash gained practical legal experience with Silvine Law and later with Zaiwalla & Co., working on commercial and international legal matters. Alongside this milestone, he recently passed Module 1 of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), London and was also recommended by the Rajasthan High Court in 2026 for appointment as a Guardian ad Litem. He currently serves as Asia Pacific Regional Forum Liaison Officer for the Academic and Professional Development Committee of the International Bar Association.
Reflecting on the achievement, Yash said:
"My time at CCLS laid a strong academic foundation and deepened my interest in commercial law and international dispute resolution. I remain grateful to the faculty and the CCLS community for the opportunities and support that have shaped my professional journey."
