CCLS Alumna recently delivered an engaging masterclass on improving communication as a lawyer.
On 21st March Annelise Pesa (Banking and Finance Law LLM, 1998) CCLS Alumna and renowned leadership coach delivered a masterclass to our alumni community exploring the topic: The Art of Attentive Communication To Drive Performance ™ And Collaboration
In this masterclass, Annelise delivered an interactive and engaging masterclass where participants were able to explore how lawyers can transform their work and team performance and therefore increase productivity. Annelise was able to allow attendees to effectively explore the way they can improve their working environment and communication through the Thinking Environment philosophy.
This interactive webinar allowed attendees to put this philosophy into practise by spending time in breakout rooms performing an exercise where attendees practised generative attention and transformative listening. They were able to consider in what ways they could implement these skills and therefore improve communication in all aspects of their work environment.
This interactive webinar concluded with a Q&A Session.

“I loved presenting a Master Class on Communication for Performance at the CCLS, with a great and diverse group of lawyers, there was a lot of curiosity for a topic that it is quite a challenge to master especially in a climate of urgency like a law firm and legal department. We had great interactions and great observations from many of the lawyer participants and for me it was wonderful to reconnect with CCLS Alumni.”
